The spout is the reason to buy a gooseneck and the Ridgeline’s is tuned for a slow, straight pour rather than a dramatic one. At a full tilt it delivers roughly 8 g/s, which is a controlled pulse rather than a flood.
The 60-minute hold is the feature people end up using most. Set 94 °C, walk away, come back when the grinder is done and the water is still exactly where you left it.
It is not induction-compatible and it is not stovetop-safe. It is an electric kettle with its own base.
